Iwata, Shizuoka
is a city located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, widely known as the headquarters of the Yamaha Motor Corporation. Iwata is also home to Júbilo Iwata, a J. League soccer team, as well as Yamaha Jubilo, a rugby team.
