Karyn Rochelle (born in
Wilmington, North Carolina) is an American
country music songwriter and vocalist. She began writing songs at the early age of 10 years. At 19, she packed up her car and moved to
Nashville, Tennessee. Within one year, she garnered her first publishing deal, signing with Crutchfield Music Group. Prior to becoming a professional songwriter, Rochelle was a highly sought after demo singer, which led to her stint as a background vocalist with
Martina McBride, where she honed her writing chops and built a catalog. Her credits include penning songs recorded by major artists
