A
Likert scale ( /'laⁱkɛɹt skeɫ/, commonly pronounced "like-ert" but some pronounce it as "lick-ert" ) is a
psychometric scale commonly involved in research employing
questionnaires. More informally in a doctor's office it may be employed as self-reporting; as in, "On a scale of 1-10, what is your pain level?"
