Lisp

A lisp, also known as "stigmatism" is a  speech impediment in which a person misarticulates sibilants (, , , ), (, , , ). These misarticulations often result in unclear speech.

The *Lisp (aka StarLisp) programming language was conceived of in 1985 by Cliff Lasser and Steve Omohundro (employees of the Thinking Machines Corporation) as a way of providing an efficient yet high-level language for programming the nascent Connection Machine.

Lisp (historically, LISP) is a family of computer programming languages with a long history and a distinctive, fully parenthesized Polish prefix notation. Originally specified in 1958, Lisp is the second-oldest high-level programming language in widespread use today; only Fortran is older (by one year). Like Fortran, Lisp has changed a great deal since its early days, and a number of dialects have existed over its history. Today, the most widely known general-purpose Lisp dialects are Common Lisp and Scheme.

Lisp ist eine Familie von Programmiersprachen, die 1958 erstmals spezifiziert wurde und am Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Anlehnung an den Lambda-Kalkül entstand. Es ist nach Fortran die zweitälteste Programmiersprache, die noch verbreitet ist.

Lispeln (von althochdeutsch lispen = lispeln, ursprünglich lautmalend) ist die Bezeichnung für die Lautbildungsstörung der Zischlaute s (, ), sch und ch . Es ist eine Form der Dyslalie. Sie gilt in der deutschen Sprache als Sprechfehler.

Lisp is een functionele programmeertaal. Lisp is in 1958 ontworpen aan het MIT door John McCarthy en is na Fortran de oudste hogere programmeertaal die nog steeds in gebruik is.

Slissen, ook lispelen genoemd, is het verkeerd uitspreken van sisklanken, in het Nederlands vaak de s en de z. Het kan op twee manieren gebeuren:

• De tong wordt tussen de tanden gestoken. Het geluid lijkt dan op dat van de Engelse th zoals in thief.
• De lucht gaat niet over de tong maar langs de zijkanten. De tongpunt raakt de boventanden of het harde verhemelte. Het geluid lijkt dan op een l met bijgeluiden.

Lisp est la plus ancienne famille de langages de programmation à la fois impératifs et fonctionnels. Développé initialement en tant que modèle pratique pour représenter des programmes (par contraste avec la notion théorique de machine de Turing), il est devenu dans les années 1970 et 80 le langage de choix pour la recherche en intelligence artificielle. Les langages Lisp sont aujourd'hui utilisés dans de nombreux domaines, de la programmation Web à la finance, et dans certains cursus de formation en informatique.
