MAFRA

MAFRA is a Czech media group oriented mainly on printed and internet media. The company was a subsidiary of German group Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei- und Verlagsgesellschaft GmbH (the publisher of the Rheinische Post), which bought MAFRA from French press group Socpresse in 1994. In 2013, the Czech entrepreneur, owner of the Agrofert group and later Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš bought the conglomerate.
