Maluuba

Maluuba is a Canadian company based in Waterloo, ON that began as a research project started in 2010 by University of Waterloo graduates. They received $2 million in Series A funding from Samsung Ventures on Feb 29th, 2012 while they were in the University of Waterloo Velocity program.
