Osiek, Lubin County

Osiek is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubin, within Lubin County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It was the birthplace of the Protestant Reformer Kaspar Schwenkfeld von Ossig in 1490. It lies approximately south-east of Lubin and north-west of the regional capital Wroclaw.
