Polka
The Polka is a Central European dance and genre of dance music familiar throughout Europe and the Americas. It originated in the middle of the 19th century in Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic. Polka remains a popular folk music genre in many European countries, and is performed by folk artists in the Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and, to a lesser extent, in parts of Poland (Clarinet Polka), Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, and Slovakia. Local varieties of this dance are also found in the Nordic countries, United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Latin America, the French Antilles and in the United States.

Polka
Die Polka ist ein beschwingter Rundtanz im lebhaften bis raschen Zweivierteltakt. Der Name stammt aus Tschechien (Böhmen). Die Grundform ist eine Folge von Polkaschritten oder Wechselschritten (kurz-kurz-lang) mit Betonung auf dem ersten Kurzschritt, also abwechselnd auf dem linken und rechten Fuß. Ursprünglich wurde dieser Wechselschritt in Böhmen mit einem Hüpfer eingeleitet, in deutschen Gegenden mit einem Hüpfer abgeschlossen.

Polka / Cero a cero es un sencillo del cantautor y folclorista chileno Tito Fernández, lanzado en 1972 bajo el sello discográfico DICAP, y perteneciente al álbum debut del artista, Tito Fernández, el Temucano, lanzado el año anterior por Peña de los Parra y distribuido también por DICAP.
