Posten in the three main Nordic languages means 'The Post' and may refer to any of the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish state postal companies:

• Posten (Finland), the Swedish name of the Finnish postal service

Posten on Ruotsin postiyhtiö. Ruotsin postin perusti vuonna 1636 Axel Oxenstierna, vaikka sen alkuperä onkin vielä vanhempi. Posten toimi valtionlaitoksena 1990-luvulle asti, kunnes siitä tehtiin valtion omistama osakeyhtiö. Ainakin kansan mielestä yksi postipalvelun suurimmista muutoksista oli postikonttoreiden asiakaspalvelusta luopuminen vuonna 2001. Nykyään Ruotsissa postipalveluja saa asiamiesposteista.
