Presente.org is an American advocacy group that "exists to amplify the political voice of Latino communities" in the United States. It was co-founded by journalist Roberto Lovato. In 2009 the group coordinated "BastaDobbs.com, a Latino-led coalition" critical of TV anchor Lou Dobbs' xenophobic commentary; Dobbs resigned from CNN under public pressure. Also in 2009, during the confirmation of chief justice Sonia Sotomayor, the group disseminated a positive visual portrait of Sotomayor In 2011 the group has campaigned against the U.S. government's deportation program "Secure Communities."
