ProB

The ProB is the third highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 24 teams, separated in a Northern and a Southern Division. Officially the ProB is part of the 2. Basketball Bundesliga, which consists of the two hierarchical leagues ProA and ProB. Before the 2007/08 season, the 2. Basketball Bundesliga was a basketball league with the same name, which consisted of two geographical divisions. At the end of the league stage the winner team of the Play-Offs in each Division qualify for the ProA and the teams positioned 9th and lower fight in the Play-Downs to the whereabouts in the League. The last two of both Divisions relegated to the lower league (4th League).

European Syriac Union is an alliance between different Assyrian/Syriac political and cultural organizations in Europe that was established in May 2004. The group emerged after the downfall of the Mesopotamia Freedom Party or Gabo d'Hirutho d'Bethnahrin (GHB), formerly known as Patriotic Revolutionary Organization of Bethnahrin (PROB) or Bethnahrin Patriotic Revolution Organization. Today, it is notable for operating Suroyo TV.
