Stoma (medicine)
In anatomy, a natural stoma is any opening in the body, such as the mouth. Any hollow organ can be manipulated into an artificial stoma as necessary. This includes the esophagusstomachduodenumileumcolonpleural cavityuretersurinary bladder, and kidney pelvis.
