Trini

Trini is a colloquial term for a native Trinidadian. The term is used extensively in Trinidadian Creole in informal settings, particularly in settings regarding people of Trinidadian origin. The plural of Trini is Trinis, which can be used to refer to a masculine or feminine group of Trinidadians. The term is also widely used by Trinidadians abroad in the United States, Canada, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and other Caribbean countries.
