.us is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the United States. It was established in 1985. Registrants of .us domains must be United States citizens, residents, or organizations, or a foreign entity with a presence in the United States. Most registrants in the country have registered for .com, .net, .org and other gTLDs, instead of .us, which has primarily been used by state and local governments despite any entity having the option of registering a .us domain.

U.S. Route 66 (US 66 or Route 66), also known as the Will Rogers Highway and colloquially known as the Main Street of America or the Mother Road, was one of the original highways within the U.S. Highway System. Route 66 was established on November 11, 1926, with road signs erected the following year. The highway, which became one of the most famous roads in America, originally ran from Chicago, Illinois, through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona before ending at Santa Monica, California, covering a total of . .us ist die länderspezifische Top-Level-Domain (ccTLD) der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika. Sie existiert seit dem 15. Februar 1985 und wurde vom Unternehmen NeuStar verwaltet, dessen Vertrag bis zum 31. August 2013 lief. Adressen können seit 2002 sowohl auf zweiter als auch auf dritter Ebene registriert werden. Einige Second-Level-Domains sind jedoch den einzelnen US-Bundesstaaten vorbehalten, so etwa .ny.us für Websites, die zu New York gehören, wobei einige Landesverwaltungen .gov-Domains bevorzugen.
