University of Hawaii at Hilo or
UH Hilo is a public co-educational university in
Hilo, Hawaii, United States. It is one of ten branches of the
University of Hawaii system. It was founded as Hawaii Vocational College (Hawaii College) in 1941. In 1970 it was reorganized by an act of the
Hawaii State Legislature.
