Ukraina

Ukraine (; , tr.  ) is a country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Belarus to the northwest, Poland and Slovakia to the west, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova to the southwest, and the Black Sea and Sea of Azov to the south and southeast, respectively. It is currently in dispute with Russia over the Crimean peninsula which Russia annexed in 2014 but Ukraine and most of the international community still recognise as Ukrainian. Including Crimea, Ukraine has an area of , making it the largest country entirely within Europe and the 46th largest country in the world, and a population of about 44.5 million, making it the 32nd most populous country in the world.

Die Krim und Teile der Ostukraine befinden sich seit 2014 nicht unter Kontrolle der Zentralregierung. Die Ukraine grenzt an Russland im Nordosten und Osten, Weißrussland im Norden, Polen, die Slowakei und Ungarn im Westen, Rumänien und Moldawien im Südwesten sowie an das Schwarze Meer und das Asowsche Meer im Süden. Die Hauptstadt ist Kiew. Die Ukraine verfügt nach Russland über das zweitgrößte Staatsgebiet in Europa. Seit der Auflösung der Sowjetunion im Jahr 1991 ist die Ukraine unabhängig.

Oekraïne (Oekraïens: Україна - 'grensland') is een land in Oost-Europa dat in het noordoosten en oosten aan Rusland, in het noordwesten aan Wit-Rusland, in het westen aan Polen, Slowakije en Hongarije en in het zuidwesten aan Roemenië en Moldavië grenst. Voorts grenst het in het zuiden aan de Zwarte Zee en in het zuidoosten aan de Zee van Azov.

LUkraine est un État d'Europe de l'Est, le deuxième d'Europe par sa superficie.
