Uman

Uman (, ) is a city located in the Cherkasy Oblast (province) in central Ukraine, to the east of Vinnytsia. Located in the historical region of the eastern Podolia, the city rests on the banks of the Umanka River at around , and serves as the self-governing administrative center of the Uman Raion (district).

Umán Municipality (In the Yucatec Maya Language: “purchase”) is one of the 106 municipalities in the Mexican state of Yucatán containing (234.30 km²) of land and located roughly 15 km southwest of the city of Mérida.
