The
Vice President of the Philippines (
Filipino:
Pangalawang Pangulo ng Pilipinas) is the second-highest executive official of the government of the Philippines, after the
President. The current official residence of the Vice President is the
Coconut Palace. Prior to the incumbent, Vice President Jejomar Binay, the Vice President's residence was at the
CCP Complex in Manila. Bearing similarities with the office as created in the
1935 Constitution, the current office of the Vice President is established under the
1987 Constitution.
