Vinca

Vinca (, ) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is part of the municipality of Grocka. Vinca-Belo Brdo, an important archaeological site that gives its name to the Neolithic culture, is located in the village.

Vinca (; Latin: vincire "to bind, fetter") is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae, native to Europe, northwest Africa and southwest Asia. The English name periwinkle is shared with the related genus Catharanthus (and also with the common seashore mollusc, Littorina littorea).

Vinça is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France.
