It is the second part from the two-album project War & Peace; the previous volume, War & Peace Vol. 1 (The War Disc) was released in 1998. War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc) peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and at number 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 188,000 copies in its first week of release.
