Afinidad (del latín
affinĭtas) puede referirse a:
- La afinidad, tipo de parentesco (denominado parentesco político) que se produce por un vínculo legal a través del matrimonio, entre aquellas personas que, sin tener lazo de consanguinidad entre sí, sí lo tienen con alguno de los esposos (por ejemplo, el existente entre los padres del esposo y los padres de la esposa).
- La afinidad, atracción o adecuación de caracteres, opiniones, gustos u otras circunstancias que existe entre dos o más personas.
