Afinidad
Afinidad (del latín affinĭtas) puede referirse a:
- La afinidad, tipo de parentesco (denominado parentesco político) que se produce por un vínculo legal a través del matrimonio, entre aquellas personas que, sin tener lazo de consanguinidad entre sí, sí lo tienen con alguno de los esposos (por ejemplo, el existente entre los padres del esposo y los padres de la esposa).
- La afinidad, atracción o adecuación de caracteres, opiniones, gustos u otras circunstancias que existe entre dos o más personas.

Ex: Although recognising some such affinities between subjects, it is more difficult to find an overall order of main classes which suits everybody.
Ex: Although there are parallels between searching and indexing, it is important to remember that successful information retrieval does not depend only upon effective exploitation of indexing.
