Attention is the behavioral and cognitive process of selectively concentrating on a discrete aspect of information, whether deemed subjective or objective, while ignoring other perceivable information. Attention has also been referred to as the allocation of limited processing resources.

Attention is a rock band from Minneapolis, MN. Featuring former members of The Stereo, Gloria Record, New End Original and Gratitude, Attention is singer/guitarist Jeremy Tappero, drummer David Jarnstrom, guitarist Eric Malmberg and bassist Derek Ritchison.

Attention! is the third studio album by German recording artist Alexander Klaws. It was released by Sony BMG on Hansa Records on March 10, 2006 in German-speaking Europe. Recorded after a short-living hiatus, it marked a departure from Klaws' previous work with Deutschland sucht den Superstar judge and musical mentor Dieter Bohlen, who gained no credit on the record. Instead, the album features a wider range of producers, including Terri Bjerre, David Stenmarck, Sandi Strmljan, Thorsten Brötzmann, Ivo Moring, and Mirko von Schlieffen.

Aufmerksamkeit ist die Zuweisung von (beschränkten) Bewusstseins­ressourcen auf Bewusstseinsinhalte, beispielsweise auf Wahrnehmungen der Umwelt oder des eigenen Verhaltens und Handelns, sowie Gedanken und Gefühle. Als Maß für die Intensität und Dauer der Aufmerksamkeit gilt die Konzentration (Bleuler 1916/1983).

Aandacht is het cognitief proces van het gericht waarnemen van de omgeving. Aandacht wordt soms ook opgevat als het toekennen van verwerkingscapaciteit. Het is verwant aan begrippen als: alertheid, concentratie en selectief verwerken van informatie. Voorbeelden zijn het naar iemand luisteren in een drukke omgeving, het kijken naar een spannende film op de televisie, of het geconcentreerd volgen van de bal door een tennisspeler.

L'attention est la faculté de l'esprit de se consacrer à un objet : d'utiliser ses capacités à l'observation, l'étude, le jugement d'une chose quelle qu'elle soit, ou encore à la pratique d'une action. L'attention est exclusive du fait qu'on ne peut réellement porter son attention que sur un objet à la fois, même si on peut parfois avoir le sentiment inverse (on peut faire deux choses simultanées si l'une ne requiert pas d'attention).
