The Civil Conflict (sometimes stylized as the "conFLiCT") is the name given by  University of Connecticut football head coach Bob Diaco to Connecticut's annual matchup against the UCF Knights football team of the University of Central Florida. The teams first met in 2013 as members of the American Athletic Conference (The American).

Von einem Konflikt (von lat. confligere, „zusammentreffen, kämpfen“; PPP: conflictum) spricht man, wenn Interessen, Zielsetzungen oder Wertvorstellungen von Personen, gesellschaftlichen Gruppen, Organisationen oder Staaten miteinander unvereinbar sind oder unvereinbar erscheinen (Intergruppenkonflikt). Dabei lässt sich zwischen der Konfliktstruktur, den Konflikt begleitenden Gefühlen (z. B. Wut) und dem konkreten Konfliktverhalten (z. B. tätliche Aggression) unterscheiden.

Conflict es una banda inglesa de anarcopunk originaria de Eltham, en el sur de Londres. Formada en 1981, la banda original estaba constituida por Colin Jerwood como vocalista, Francisco Paco Carreno en la batería, Big John en el bajo, Steve el guitarrista y Pauline como segunda voz. El primer disco de estudio fue The House that Man Built con la discográfica Crass Records.
