DAT or Dat may refer to:

• Direct agglutination test, any test that uses whole organisms as a means of looking for serum antibody
• Direct antiglobulin test, one of two Coombs tests
• Dopamine transporter or dopamine active transporter, a membrane-spanning protein

This is a list of file formats used by computers, organized by type. Filename extensions are usually noted in parentheses if they differ from the format name or abbreviation. Many operating systems do not limit filenames to a single extension shorter than 4 characters, as was common with some operating systems that supported the FAT file system. Examples of operating systems that do not impose this limit include Unix-like systems. Also, Microsoft Windows NT, 95, 98, and Me do not have a three character limit on extensions for 32-bit or 64-bit applications on file systems other than pre-Windows 95/Windows NT 3.5 versions of the FAT file system. Some filenames are given extensions longer than three characters.

Daet ist eine philippinische Stadtgemeinde in der Provinz Camarines Norte, deren Hauptort sie ist.

Cinta de Audio Digital, (del inglés Digital Audio Tape y abreviado DAT) es un medio de grabación y reproducción de señal desarrollado por Sony a mediados de 1980. Fue el primer formato de casete digital comercializado y, en apariencia, es similar a una cinta de audio compacto, utilizando cinta magnética de 4 mm encapsulada en una carcasa protectora, pero es aproximadamente la mitad del tamaño con 73 mm × 54 mm × 10,5 mm. Como su nombre lo indica, la grabación se realiza de forma digital en lugar de analógica, la grabación y conversión a DAT tiene mayor, igual o menor tasa de muestreo que un CD (48, 44,1 o 32 kHz de frecuencia de muestreo y 16 bits de cuantificación). Si se copia una fuente digital entonces la DAT producirá una copia exacta, diferente de otros medios digitales como el Casete Compacto Digital o el MiniDisc Hi-MD, los cuales tienen compresión con pérdida de datos.

Deze lijst van bestandsextensies geeft een overzicht van bestandsextensies zoals die in de informatica worden gebruikt. In het Unix-besturingssysteem, en dus ook bij GNU/Linux, bestaan bestandsextensies meestal uit kleine letters. In DOS-systemen kan een bestand maar één extensie hebben, die maximaal drie tekens bevat. Hoewel deze restrictie tegenwoordig bij Windows niet meer bestaat, worden ook onder Windows bestandsextensies vaak beperkt tot 3 of soms 4 tekens. Een bestandsextensie kan gekoppeld worden aan meerdere bestandsformaten. Een bestandsextensie kan dus andere inhoud hebben, terwijl een bestandsformaat altijd een bepaald type inhoud bevat.
