Decree
A decree is a rule of law usually issued by a head of state (such as the president of a republic or a monarch), according to certain procedures (usually established in a constitution). It has the force of law. The particular term used for this concept may vary from country to country. The executive orders made by the President of the United States, for example, are decrees (although a decree is not exactly an order). In non-legal English usage, however, the term refers to any authoritarian decision.

Ein Dekret (lat. decretum „Beschluss“, „Verordnung“, zu decernere „beschließen“) ist ein von einer Regierung oder einem Staatsoberhaupt erlassener Rechtsakt, in der Regel in Form einer Verordnung oder Verfügung mit Gesetzeskraft.

حکم شرعي
هر يک از مقرراتي را که شارع مقدس براي موضوعات مختلف وضع کرده‌است حکم شرعي گويند و جمع آن احکام شرعيه نام دارد مانند: لزوم اقامه حدود و تعزيرات نسبت به مجرمان و وجوب اجراي قصاص درباره جانيان. حکم تکليفي و حکم وضعي حکم شرعي چنانچه به طور مستفيم به انجام يا ترک کاري تعلق داشته باشد حکم تکليفي ناميده مي‌شود مانند دتدن نفقه به همسر و يا اجراي حدود و حکم قصاص و حرمت عدم انجام آنها. اما چنانچه به طور مستفيم به فعل يا ترک کاري تعلق نگرفته باشد بلکه به يک جسم يا شخص تعلق گرفته باشد حکم وضعي ناميده مي‌شود مانند: مالکيت شيء يا زوجيت شخص.
