Del, or nabla, is an operator used in mathematics, in particular, in vector calculus, as a vector differential operator, usually represented by the nabla symbol ∇. When applied to a function defined on a one-dimensional domain, it denotes its standard derivative as defined in calculus. When applied to a field (a function defined on a multi-dimensional domain), del may denote the gradient (locally steepest slope) of a scalar field (or sometimes of a vector field, as in the Navier–Stokes equations), the divergence of a vector field, or the curl (rotation) of a vector field, depending on the way it is applied.

Canton of Grisons or Graubünden in German (Swiss Standard German: ; German Standard German: ; ; ; ; see also other names) is the largest and easternmost canton of Switzerland. The canton shares borders with the cantons of Ticino, Uri, Glarus and St. Gallen and international borders with Italy, Austria and Liechtenstein. The name Graubünden translates as the "Grey Leagues," referring to the canton's origin in three local alliances, the League of God's House, the Grey League, and the League of Ten Jurisdictions. Graubünden is also home to three of Switzerland's ethnic groups and the subsequent languages of Swiss German, Italian and Romansh are all native to the state. It is the only officially trilingual canton and the only canton where the Romansh language has official status.

Ein Deel (, Kleid) ist ein traditioneller Mantel, der vor allem in der Mongolei seit mehreren Jahrhunderten getragen wird. Er wird über der Kleidung getragen, besitzt in der Regel keine Taschen und ist meist aus Baumwolle, Filz oder Seide gefertigt. Geknöpft wird der Deel am Kragen und auf der rechten Seite und ist mit einer Stoff- oder Lederschärpe, dem Bus, zusammen gewickelt. Am Bus können Werkzeuge und andere Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs befestigt werden. Die Schärpe kann bei Männern bis zu sieben Meter lang sein und wird im Uhrzeigersinn um die Hüfte gewickelt. Frauen tragen eine etwa drei Meter lange Schärpe um die Taille.

Der Nabla-Operator ist ein Symbol, das in der Vektor- und Tensoranalysis benutzt wird, um kontextabhängig einen der drei Differentialoperatoren Gradient, Divergenz oder Rotation zu notieren. Das Formelzeichen des Operators ist das Nabla-Symbol  (auch oder , um die formale Ähnlichkeit zu üblichen vektoriellen Größen zu betonen). Der Name "Nabla" leitet sich von einem harfenähnlichen phönizischen Saiteninstrument ab, das in etwa die Form dieses Zeichens hatte. Eingeführt wurde die Schreibweise vom Mathematiker Peter Guthrie Tait (1831-1901).

Nabla, of del, aangeduid door het symbool , is een differentiaaloperator in de vectorrekening. De naam is afkomstig van een Joods snaarinstrument met ongeveer de vorm van het gebruikte symbool. Nabla wordt gebruikt als notatie voor de operatoren gradiënt, divergentie en rotatie.

Une diode électroluminescente (DEL, en , LED), est un dispositif opto-électronique capable d’émettre de la lumière lorsqu’il est parcouru par un courant électrique. Une diode électroluminescente ne laisse passer le courant électrique que dans un seul sens (le sens passant, comme une diode classique, l'inverse étant le sens bloquant) et produit un rayonnement monochromatique ou polychromatique non cohérent à partir de la conversion d’énergie électrique lorsqu'un courant la traverse.

Nabla, noté ou selon les conventions utilisées, est un symbole mathématique pouvant aussi bien désigner le gradient d'une fonction en analyse qu'une connexion de Koszul en géométrie différentielle. Les deux notions sont reliées, ce qui explique l'utilisation d'un même symbole. En physique, il est utilisé de manière informelle en dimension 3 pour représenter aisément la divergence (∇·A), le rotationnel (∇∧A) et le laplacien vectoriel (ΔA = ∇ A) d'un champ vectoriel A, ainsi que le gradient (∇f) et le laplacien (Δf = ∇ f) d'un champ scalaire f. Ces notions sont fondamentales en physique, notamment en électromagnétisme et en hydrodynamique.
