Draft or draught may mean:

• Draft beer or other beverage, served from a bulk keg or cask rather than a bottle or can
• The Draft, the American term for conscription, compulsory enrollment of persons especially for military service
• Demand draft, a check created by a merchant with a buyer's account number on it, but without the buyer's signature

Der Begriff Draft (engl. draft [auch draught] „Zug“, „Zeichnung“, „Entwurf“) bezeichnet:

• im US-amerikanischen Profisport die Berufung in eine Mannschaft, siehe Entry Draft. Folgende Sportarten sind zu nennen: Eishockey (NHL Entry Draft), Baseball (MLB Draft), Basketball (NBA-Draft) sowie Fußball und American-Football (NFL Draft),

Un draft es un proceso utilizado en los Estados Unidos, Canadá, Australia y México para poder asignar determinados jugadores a equipos deportivos. En un draft, los equipos se turnan la selección de un grupo de jugadores elegibles. Cuando un equipo elige un jugador, el equipo recibe derechos exclusivos para firmar un contrato al mismo, y ningún otro equipo en la liga podrá firmar a ese jugador.

Draft is een methode om nieuwe spelers te verdelen over de teams in een competitie. Deze methode wordt voornamelijk in de Noord-Amerikaanse sporten (American football, basketbal, honkbal en ijshockey) toegepast.
