A feature is a distinct property or piece, which may refer to:

• Feature (CAD), could be a hole, pocket, or notch
• Feature (computer vision), could be an edge, corner or blob
• Feature (software design) is an intentional distinguishing characteristic of a software item (in performance, portability, or - especially - functionality)
• Feature (machine learning), in statistics: individual measurable properties of the phenomena being observed
• Feature data, in geographic information systems, comprise information about an entity with a geographic location
• Features, in audio signal processing, an aim to capture specific aspects of audio signals in a numeric way

Feature – gatunek radia non-fiction, który obok słuchowiska wyłonił się po 1945 r. w programach kulturalnych rozgłośni radiowych różnych krajów europejskich. Radiowy feature łączy w sobie m.in. elementy słuchowiska, dokumentu i reportażu. Jako samodzielny gatunek został spopularyzowany pod koniec lat 30. XX wieku, początkowo w Wielkiej Brytanii.

Ordet feature (av det engelska ) brukar i svenska massmedier beteckna artiklar och reportage som inte är av nyhetskaraktär, utan är obundna av tiden. Resor, motor, matrecept och konsument är några ämnesområden som ofta sorteras in under beteckningen feature.
