GLOBE is the Global Legislators Organisation for a Balanced Environment, founded in 1989.

A globe is a three-dimensional, spherical, scale model of Earth (terrestrial globe or geographical globe) or other celestial body such as a planet or moon. While models can be made of objects with arbitrary or irregular shapes, the term globe is used only for models of objects that are approximately spherical. The word “globe” comes from the Latin word globus, meaning round mass or sphere. Some terrestrial globes include relief to show mountains and other features on the Earth’s surface.

globe es una banda de J-Pop con tendencia a la música electrónica como el trance y el techno. Formado en 1995 por el legendario productor y compositor Tetsuya Komuro, globe debutó en agosto del mismo año.

Een globe (op zijn Nederlands uitgesproken, ook wereldbol of aardbol; meervoud globes) is een bol met de afbeelding van de aarde of een hemellichaam. Op een wereldbol zijn de verhoudingen in grootte, vorm en afstand tussen de landen correct, wat met een platte kaart niet mogelijk is.

Un globe (planétaire) est une représentation réduite et en trois dimensions, d'un corps céleste approximativement sphérique comme une planète, une étoile, un satellite naturel (globe lunaire, par exemple), et en particulier la Terre (globe terrestre). Il peut également s'agir d'une représentation sphérique du ciel et des étoiles, à l'exclusion du soleil, de la Lune et des planètes en raison de leurs positions relatives variables ; cependant, l'« orbite » du Soleil est indiquée : c'est un globe céleste. On parle ainsi de « paire de globes » incluant un terrestre et un céleste.
