- Homolog (Linguistik), homologer Terminus, sprachlicher Ausdruck, der durch seine Form ein Beispiel für seine Bedeutung darstellt
- Homologie (Biologie), evolutionär bedingte Übereinstimmungen von Merkmalen unterschiedlicher systematischer Taxa
