iDEAL is an e-commerce payment system used in the Netherlands, based on online banking. Introduced in 2005, this payment method allows customers to buy on the Internet using direct online transfers from their bank account.

En mathématiques, et plus particulièrement en algèbre, un idéal est un sous-ensemble remarquable d'un anneau : c'est un sous-groupe du groupe additif de l'anneau et qui est de plus stable par multiplication par les éléments de l'anneau.
