IntegRate was a Software product written in C++ based on a pipe-lined high performance architecture for handling batch rating of telecommunications Call Data Records (CDR), developed by the German software company "Solution 42". The product represented one of the first Massively parallel (computing) applications in it area. It allowed to process and charge thousands of events per second on commodity hardware in parallel in a multi core and multi computer environment. The software was able to run on the following operating systems: Windows, Unix/Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and AIX. It contained highly optimized algorithms for ultra-fast Regular expression matching using an Finite-state machine as well as one of the first self-developed in-memory databases (IMDB).

• En informatique :
  • l'intégration est une phase d'un projet durant laquelle on vérifie le produit par des tests d'intégration ;
  • Le terme intégration désigne également la conception et la réalisation d'un système d'information intégré par la mise en relation (interfaçage) de différents logiciels ou matériels existants ;
  • L'intégration désigne aussi le développement web côté client ;
• Dans l'industrie spatiale, l'intégration désigne la phase pendant laquelle la charge utile d'un satellite est installée sur la plate-forme. Cette intégration se déroule dans une salle blanche.
• En pédagogie, l'intégration est une démarche pédagogique selon laquelle les apprenants mobilisent des ressources pour résoudre une situation-problème complexe (pédagogie de l'intégration) ;
• En sociologie, l'intégration est le processus et les modalités par lesquels une personne s’attache (s'intègre) à une communauté et inversement.
