Isotherm may refer to:

• Isotherm (contour line) a type of equal temperature at a given date or time on a geographic map
• Isotherm in thermodynamics, a curve on a p-V diagram for an isothermal process
• Moisture sorption isotherm a curve giving the functional relationship between humidity and equilibrium water content of a material for a constant temperature
• Sorption isotherm a curve giving the functional relationship between adsorbate and adsorbent in a constant-temperature adsorption process

Die isotherme Zustandsänderung ist eine thermodynamische Zustandsänderung, bei der die Temperatur unverändert bleibt:

Darin bezeichnen und die Temperaturen vor bzw. nach der Zustandsänderung. Bei einer Verdichtung eines Gases muss also die Kompressionswärme abgeführt bzw. bei einer Expansion Wärme zugeführt werden. Dies kann durch ein Wärmebad näherungsweise erreicht werden.

Izoterma – linia na mapie pogody, łącząca punkty na Ziemi mające tę samą temperaturę w danym czasie lub tę samą średnią temperaturę w danym czasie. Izotermy zwykle przedstawiają temperaturę przy założeniu, że pomiar przeprowadzony był na poziomie morza. Dla stacji pomiarowych usytuowanych na innej wysokości wprowadza się poprawkę odpowiadającą pionowemu gradientowi temperatury  (1 °C na 165 m wysokości).
