Moisture refers to the presence of a liquid, especially water, often in trace amounts. Small amounts of water may be found, for example, in the air (humidity), in foods, and in various commercial products. Moisture also refers to the amount of water vapour present in the air.

La condensazione (anche detta liquefazione) è la transizione di fase dalla fase aeriforme alla fase liquida di una sostanza. Tale trasformazione si può eseguire:

• a temperatura costante per compressione, se la temperatura dell'aeriforme è inferiore a quella critica;
• per raffreddamento con una fonte esterna;
• per espansione adiabatica.

In ogni caso l'operazione di condensazione è esotermica.
