muse

MusE is a  free software MIDI/Audio sequencer with recording and editing capabilities. It was originally written by Werner Schweer and now is developed by the Muse development team.

The Muses ( Mousai; perhaps from the o-grade of the Proto-Indo-European root *men- "think") in Greek mythology are the goddesses of the inspiration of literature, science, and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge embodied in the poetry, song-lyrics, and myths that were related orally for centuries in these ancient cultures. They were later adopted by the Romans as a part of their pantheon.

MusE ist ein freier, Open Source MIDI/Audio-Sequenzer mit Aufnahme- und Bearbeitungsfunktionen. Die Musiksoftware wurde ursprünglich von Werner Schweer geschrieben und wird nun vom MusE-Entwicklungsteam weiterentwickelt.

Die Musen (, Einzahl , Mousa) sind in der griechischen Mythologie Schutzgöttinnen der Künste. Die Überlieferung der uns heute bekannten neun Musen stammt von Hesiod.

Muse es una banda británica de rock formada en 1994 en Teignmouth, Inglaterra. Sus integrantes desde su formación en la década de los años 90 son: Matt Bellamy (compositor, voz, guitarra, teclados); Dominic Howard (batería, percusión); y Christopher Wolstenholme (bajo eléctrico, teclados, coros). Tras el lanzamiento Black Holes and Revelations, Morgan Nicholls comenzó a colaborar con la banda durante las presentaciones en vivo, haciéndose cargo de teclados, samples, de algunos coros, rara vez del bajo y últimamente de la segunda guitarra. La banda es conocida por sus extravagantes espectáculos en vivo, por fusionar géneros musicales como el rock alternativo, rock espacial, rock progresivo, rock sinfónico y electrónica, además por los atípicos intereses de Bellamy en la conspiración global, la revolución, la astrofísica, vida extraterrestre, pensamientos humanos y la idea de un fin del mundo simbólico; temas que se ven reflejados en sus letras.

Muse is een Britse rockband uit Teignmouth die in 1994 is opgericht. De band bestaat uit zanger en gitarist Matthew Bellamy, drummer Dominic Howard en bassist Christopher Wolstenholme.

De negen muzen (Grieks: Μοῦσαι) waren in de Griekse mythologie de godinnen van kunst en wetenschap en stelden de inspiratie voor. Het begrip muze, dat tegenwoordig voornamelijk wordt gebruikt in de betekenis van inspiratiebron, is hiervan afgeleid.

Dans la mythologie grecque, les Muses (grec , ) sont les neuf filles de Zeus et de Mnémosyne. Leurs filles sont des déesses de la mémoire.
