Print Media is a Bosnian-based comic and graphic novel publishing company founded by Ivo Milicevic, a veteran of the Bosnian and Croatian comic industries. The company has published the science fiction anthology Plavi in Bosnia and STRIP Magazine in both Bosnia and the UK.

Printing is a process for reproducing text and images using a master form or template. The earliest examples include Cylinder seals and other objects such as the Cyrus Cylinder and the Cylinders of Nabonidus. The earliest known form of woodblock printing came from China dating to before 220 A.D. Later developments in printing include the movable type, first developed by Bi Sheng in China. Johannes Gutenberg introduced mechanical movable type printing to Europe in the 15th century, his printing press key role in the development of the Renaissance, Reformation, the Age of Enlightenment, and the scientific revolution and laid the material basis for the modern knowledge-based economy and the spread of learning to the masses.

Buchdruck ist ein mechanischer Prozess, bei dem Schriften und Bilder in großer Anzahl auf ebene Flächen, meist aus Papier, reproduziert werden. Die dadurch erstellten Werke können in großer Anzahl verbreitet werden. Bis zu seiner Erfindung war die Erschaffung und handschriftliche Vervielfältigung von Dokumenten und Büchern (Manuskripten) ein Monopol einer kleinen Zahl von Spezialisten, in Europa insbesondere der gebildeten Mönche in den Skriptorien der Klöster.

Boekdrukkunst is de kunst geschriften te vermenigvuldigen door middel van een drukpers. Meer in het bijzonder door middel van het combineren van verschillende (herbruikbare) delen een gedrukte tekst (en/of afbeelding) in oplage produceren.

Le terme de gravure désigne l'ensemble des techniques artistiques qui utilisent l’incision ou le creusement pour produire une image ou un texte. Le principe consiste à inciser ou à creuser à l'aide d'un outil ou d'un mordant une matrice. Après encrage, celle-ci est imprimée sur du papier ou sur un autre support. L'œuvre finale ainsi obtenue s'appelle une estampe.

L'héliogravure ou rotogravure est un procédé d'impression particulièrement adapté aux très longs tirages où une haute qualité de reproduction est exigée. L'héliogravure est aussi un procédé ancien et de très haute qualité et rareté pour les tirages photographiques d'art (procédé appelé aussi « héliogravure au grain »).
