Progress ( für Fortschritt) ist ein russischer, von Sojus abgeleiteter unbemannter und nichtwiederverwendbarer Raumtransporter, der Mitte der 1970er-Jahre vom OKB-1 Koroljow (Experimental-Konstruktionsbüro-1, heute RKK Energija) zur Versorgung von Raumstationen der Saljut-Serie entwickelt wurde. Später wurde mit Progress auch die Raumstation Mir angeflogen. Heutzutage starten die Progress-Transporter zur Internationalen Raumstation (ISS). Als Träger dient die Sojus-Rakete.

Progress (en ruso Прогресс, Progreso) es una familia de naves no tripuladas rusas utilizadas para llevar víveres y combustible a estaciones espaciales. En un principio se utilizaron con las estaciones Salyut 6, Salyut 7 y Mir, en la Guerra Fría, permitiendo que las tripulaciones soviéticas y luego rusas, permaneciesen en el espacio de forma indefinida.

Progress (en russe: Прогресс c'est-à-dire progrès) est un vaisseau cargo spatial dans le cadre du programme spatial soviétique pour permettre un séjour prolongé d'un équipage à bord de la station spatiale Saliout 6 grâce à un ravitaillement périodique par un engin spatial sans équipage. Lancé par la fusée Soyouz il a effectué son premier vol en 1978. Par la suite le vaisseau Progress a assuré successivement le ravitaillement des stations spatiales Saliout 7, Mir et enfin pour partie de la Station spatiale internationale. Le vaisseau Progress est directement dérivé du vaisseau Soyouz utilisé pour transporter les équipages en orbite basse. Il est capable de transporter à la fois du fret pressurisé et des gaz, ergols et liquides mais n'est pas conçu pour ramener du fret sur Terre. Comme le vaisseau Soyouz il est équipé d'un système d'amarrage automatique Kours. Plusieurs variantes du vaisseau Progress ont été utilisées avec des capacités croissantes.
