Rare
Rare is a video game developer located in Twycross, Leicestershire. The company was established in 1985 by Tim and Chris Stamper, founders of Ultimate Play the Game. During its early years, Rare was backed by an unlimited budget from Nintendo, primarily concentrated on Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games. During this time they created successful titles such as Wizards & Warriors, Battletoads, and R.C. Pro-Am. Rare became a prominent second-party developer for Nintendo, who came to own a large minority stake of the company. During this period, Rare received international recognition and critical acclaim for games such as Donkey Kong Country, GoldenEye 007, Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Rare!
Rare! compiles tracks from four Crack the Sky albums from 1983–1990, two of John Palumbo's solo albums, and previously unreleased live and demo recordings. It was released in 1994 on CD.

Rare
Rare Ltd., auch als Rare bzw. Rareware bekannt, ist ein britisches Entwicklungsstudio von Videospielen. Rare entwickelte jahrelang exklusiv für Nintendo-Spielkonsolen, bis das Studio 2002 von Microsoft übernommen wurde und seither exklusiv als First-Party-Entwickler für den US-amerikanischen Mutterkonzern arbeitet. Die Firma wurde 1985 von Tim und Chris Stamper gegründet, die zum Jahreswechsel 2006/2007 von der Firmenleitung zurücktraten. Nach ihrem Rücktritt übernahmen Mark Betteridge und Gregg Mayles die Leitung der Firma. Rare hieß ursprünglich Ashby Computer Graphics (A.C.G) und veröffentlichte die Spiele unter dem Namen Ultimate Play The Game.

Rare
Rare Ltd., también conocida como Rareware, es una empresa británica que desarrollaba videojuegos para videoconsolas. Fue fundada en 1982 por los hermanos Tim y Chris Stamper. Rare trabajó durante muchos años como second-party para Nintendo y en esta compañía japonesa donde desarrollan sus más aclamados títulos, pero en 2002 fue adquirida por la empresa estadounidense Microsoft.
