Rescript
In legal terminology, a rescript is a document that is issued not on the initiative of the author, but in response (it literally means 'written back') to a specific demand made by its addressee. It does not apply to more general legislation.

Reskript
Das Reskript (lat.: rescriptum, das heißt so viel wie „Antwortschreiben“ oder „Rückantwort“) ist im römischen Recht eine Rechtsnorm zur Regelung von Rechtsfragen im Einzelfall und ähnelt insofern einem Verwaltungsakt (genauer gesagt einem Bescheid).

Reskript
Reskript (lat. rescriptum) kallades i romerska riket kejserliga svarsskrivelser på framställningar av enskilda, ämbetsmän eller myndigheter i omtvistade frågor eller tvivelaktiga rättsfall. Ordet har även senare i många stater använts för att beteckna en från statschefen (eller annan högre myndighet) utgången bestämmelse i ett visst fall.
