SPRING is a freeware GIS and remote sensing image processing system with an object-oriented data model which provides for the integration of raster and vector data representations in a single environment. It has Windows and Linux versions and provides a comprehensive set of functions] including tools for Satellite Image Processing, Digital Terrain Modeling, Spatial Analysis, Geostatistics, Spatial Statistics, Spatial Databases and Map Management.

Spring was een jeugdserie van de Vlaamse televisiezender Ketnet die ging over een groep jongeren die zichzelf en de wereld ontdekken in en rond dansschool 'Spring'. De serie werd geproduceerd door Studio 100. In juli 2002 startten de opnames van de allereerste reeks. Spring was meteen een groot succes bij de kinderen. Het laatste seizoen werd uitgezonden van januari tot maart 2008. Anno 2013 wordt de serie nog steeds herhaald op Ketnet. De afleveringen komen ook op ketnet.be.
