Substitution-permutation network
In cryptography, an SP-network, or substitution-permutation network (SPN), is a series of linked mathematical operations used in block cipher algorithms such as AES (Rijndael). Other ciphers that use SPNs are 3-WaySAFERSHARK, and Square.
