Tâb is the Egyptian name of a running-fight board game played in several Arab countries, or a family of similar board games played in Northern Africa and South-western Asia, from Persia to West Africa and from Turkey to Somalia, where a variant called deleb is played. The game described here was recorded by Edward William Lane in Egypt in the 1820s. A reference to "at-tâb wa-d-dukk" (likely a similar game) occurs in a poem of 1310 CE.

Tab (stylized as TaB) is a diet cola soft drink produced by The Coca-Cola Company, introduced in 1963, and was created by Coca-Cola after the successful sales and marketing of Diet Rite cola, owned by The Royal Crown Company; previously, Diet Rite had been the only sugarless soda on the market. Tab was marketed to consumers who wanted to "keep tabs" on their weight.

TaB is een Amerikaans colamerk dat specifiek bedoeld is als lightproduct. Het was de eerste light-frisdrank van de Coca-Cola Company. TaB werd geïntroduceerd in 1963 en is daarna verschillende keren van receptuur gewisseld. Aanvankelijk was het gezoet met natriumcyclamaat, maar dit werd al in 1969 verboden door de FDA. Daarna begon men met het gebruiken van sacharine, maar ook dit werd aanvankelijk verboden in 1977. Het verbod werd even later verworpen door het Amerikaans Congres, maar wel bleef een verplichting van kracht om op de vepakking een waarschuwing te plaatsen dat sacharine kanker kon veroorzaken. In 2000 schrapte Bill Clinton deze verplichting.

Tabulatuur of tab is een voor een specifiek muziekinstrument aangepast muziekschrift. Door het instrument zo veel mogelijk op papier na te bootsen sluit tabulatuur vaak beter aan op het instrument dan de standaardmuzieknotatie.
