King Tou or Toi is the name of a king of Hamath, a city located in Syria. He is only mentioned in 2 Samuel 8:9-10 and 1 Chronicles 18:9-10. According to sources [1]Ugarit Forschungen and Semitica wrote "Leading journals recently wrote on the discovery of eight significant sites in Turkey and northern Syria which revealed the existence of a large Philistine kingdom under the rule of Tai(ta) of Hamath." [2]

Usada en algunas artes marciales. Es un haz de cañas o bambú atados por ambos extremos con una cuerda de paja. En su practica se ataca el haz de cañas con la mano. El ejercicio fortalece la punta de los dedos. Aunque podemos agarrar también un trozo de caña o de bambú y ,tras atacar, intentar tirar de él hacía nosotros.

Tou bryggeri startet produksjon av øl og mel i 1855 på Tau ved Stavanger. I 1901 ble all produksjon av øl flyttet til Lervik i Stavanger. I 1970-årene ble produksjonen flyttet til nye bygninger ved Forus. Stavangerbryggeriet ble etter hvert kjøpt opp av Ringnes. 15. august 2007 vedtok styret i Ringnes å nedlegge bryggeriet.
