Derealization or derealisation (sometimes abbreviated as DR) is an alteration in the perception or experience of the external world so that it seems unreal. Other symptoms include feeling as though one's environment is lacking in spontaneity, emotional colouring and depth. It is a dissociative symptom of many conditions, such as psychiatric and neurological disorders, and not a standalone disorder.

Als Derealisation oder besser Derealisationserleben wird eine zeitweilige oder dauerhafte abnorme oder verfremdete Wahrnehmung der Umwelt bezeichnet.

Derealizacja – zaburzenie psychiczne określające różnego rodzaju odczuwanie zmian otaczającego świata. Osoba dotknięta derealizacją ma poczucie jakby otaczający ją świat był w jakiś sposób zmieniony, nierealny, oddalony. Główną przyczyną pojawienia się tego zaburzenia jest lęk, jednak może do niej również doprowadzić zmęczenie.
