In physics a vapor (American English spelling) or vapour (British) is a substance in the gas phase at a temperature lower than its critical point, which means that the vapor can be condensed to a liquid by increasing the pressure on it without reducing the temperature. A vapor is a different substance than an aerosol. An aerosol is a suspension of tiny particles of liquid, solid or both within a gas.

Dampf wird in Naturwissenschaft und Technik als Bezeichnung für einen chemisch reinen, gasförmigen Stoff gewählt, wenn man ihn in Bezug zu seinem flüssigen oder festen Aggregatzustand betrachtet. Dampf kann durch Verdampfung der Flüssigkeit bzw. Sublimation des Feststoffs entstehen, und sich durch Kondensation wieder in diese bzw. durch Resublimieren in diesen umwandeln.

Vapour est un système de distribution de contenu automatique. En clair Vapour est un logiciel permettant de gérer les mods de jeux vidéo un peu à l'image de Steam. Il sait aussi gérer (installer, mettre à jour, désinstaller) les cartes non officielles de quelques mod. De plus il permet la distribution de jeux indépendants (standalone).
