Morphology (linguistics)
In linguistics, morphology is the identification, analysis and description of the structure of a given language's morphemes and other linguistic units, such as root words, affixes, parts of speech, intonations and stresses, or implied context. In contrast, morphological typology is the classification of languages according to their use of morphemes, while lexicology is the study of those words forming a language's .

تکواژشناسي
تک‌واژشناسی یا صَرف/ ساختِ‌واژه (انگلیسی: ) بخشی از دستورِ زبان است که ساختـ(ـارِ) واژه را موردِ تحلیل قرار می‌دهد. به سخنِ دیگر، ساختِ‌واژه به شناختِ تکواژها و راه‌هایِ هم‌نشینیِ آنها با یکدیگر در قالب‌هایِ نحوی و نیز در واژه‌سازی می‌پردازد. کارِ اصلیِ زبان‌شناس در بررسیِ ساختِ‌واژه‌یِ یک زبان، تجزیهٔ عبارت‌ها و جمله‌ها و دست یافتن به تکواژها و واژه‌ها و سپس دسته‌بندیِ آنها بر اساسِ رده‌هایِ دستوریِ آن زبان می‌باشد.
